Bayswater Allied Health is able to provide you with a world-leading method of covering up those unsightly nails, providing you with the confidence to parade your feet, especially during summer.
We have recently introduced the innovative Keryflex Nail Restoration System to our practise. KeryFlex is a safe application that restores the appearance of natural nails using leading German and American technologies and materials.
The Keryflex system utilises a cosmetic nail that is made from a patented resin. The nail is then moulded into shape and exposed to ultraviolet light, resulting in a flexible, non-porous nail that will completely cover a damaged nail.
There must be at least 15% of nail stock remaining in order for the Keryflex nail to bond. The nails typically last for 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the speed of nail growth. The nail can be refilled at this time.
Keryflex Nails provide the appearance of a normal cosmetically appealing nail.
Keryflex is safe, has no known reported adverse effects and allows the remaining natural nail to grow.
The KeryFlex nail is durable and unaffected by acetone, nail polishes or detergents. You can even apply nail polish immediately following the application of the nail.
Keryflex is not a treatment for onychomycosis (fungus) or traumatised nails, although it does have antifungal properties. Keryflex is also not suitable for those suffering from ingrown toenails, active infection of the nail or surrounds, peripheral vascular disease, or undiagnosed lesions beneath the nail.
